Is Singh King?

Only yesterday a man whom we have never heard of has suddenly become a "HERO", well , may be!

Jarnail Singh of some Hindi Newspaper hurled the "Shoe Missile" on Mr. Home Minister aka Mr.P.Chidambaram during a Press Conference at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi.. Now, I agree that somewhere this hero is MISinspired by the hooliganism of the Iraqi journo, but I doubt his feelings(or he was too desperate) because the intensity and fire with which the Iraqi journo hit the once most powerful man in the world was too much to be compared with that thrown by Jarnail Singh, people will agree with me if they had seen the footage in which it just seems that he is handing over his shoes to a Bare Footed Chidambaram(walking like that to beg for vote :)).

This just made me think can anyone just walk up like that take out his shoe sandals or whatever and throw on someone in INDIA. Is this what our Democracy is all about , may be people have misinterpreted the meaning. I believe people like Jarnail Singh should be taken to task and taught about the responsibilities and etiquettes a journo should have.

Being given such a responsible task of a journalist attending so many important venues to cover story for the masses a person should not be doing this. On top of it PC pardoned him(HE IS SOO KIND @##$@%%).I wish this would have happened some time back when there were no elections in sight and I wonder what Mr.Hero would have gone through(HELL!! someone hear?).

How could our poilticians, ministers pardon something that would definitely give rise to more such violent acts. This is what these people are all about, double faced, just to make sure that their votes dosen't get cut down, they keep the trial and order on stake. And by the way I did not know that PC is the new law maker of our country deciding whether some one should be punished or not. Imagine Jarnail Singh seriously losing his head and doing something that would posed a serious security threat to many others present during the Press Conference.

What do we portray to the world leaders who address the press when they visit India, may be they have to think twice before attending them for the next time.

Well everybody would be thinking by now that why am I not talking about the person because of whom this all happened ,Jagdish Tyler. He is accused in the 1984 Sikh riots which happened after the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards. CBI had given a clean chit to Tytler in the case recently much to the dismay of the entire Sikh community. They felt the centre had used its power over the CBI ahead of the the crucial elections.

PC kept quiet and refused to answer Jarnail Singh who accused the the Congress of denying justice to the Sikhs.

I agree these parties can do anything just for their mere selfishness , but there are other ways to protest ,we don't want to be counted among some barbaric countries.

We are INDIANS and we should be proud of the democracy , we should enjoy our fundamental rights but not misuse them. Let us all together condemn this act both by Jarnail and PC and raise a voice against it and not support and give price reward to some loser , you understand what I mean.

And yes Singh is not King this time.

Now please voice in your comments.

Cheers

Immoral Soul,

I agree with most of the part except the fact that forgiving someone can be called as being double faced. We ,Indians also believe in forgiving. So if he forgave him morally(not as per law) should be taken in good spirit.I don't deny the fact that they are double faced. But in this case,we should give credit to him.Although i'm not pro p.chidambaram but still i believe good act should never be condemned.Someone should file the case against Mr. Singh (we file thousands of FIRS) and let the law decide how to punish him.The only question remains:Why this someone is not me?
Certainly,Singh is not king.

About the post I agree with linkinrustle... But more than that I see consistancy emerging in your writing. Keep up the good work.
